seal street art

The significance of the objects and character is the seal it is half trash can because it represents the all the trash in the ocean.
The significance of the colours is that the blue represents the ocean.
This street art is in a parking lot so it is easily seen.
 The artist is Tess Sheerin she says her art aims to "communicate 
the issue of water pollution and its damaging effect on wildlife."

street art is not graffiti. street art is commissioned and people have got permission to paint it and graffiti is illegal and done without permission. this street art is called organic matters and it is on lichfield street christchurch 

the kea

I choose kea as my mascot bird because it is one of the most  intelligent bird in the world. They are about 48 cm long.
It is the only alpine parrot in the world and is native to New zealand. There has been reports of them attacking farmer’s sheep and stealing food from people.
I saw some when we went through arthurs pass on the way to greymouth. The males have around 20% more mass than females. Some common estimates for population is 1,000 to 7,000. Kea’s used to get bounty hunted to protect sheep but it was outlawed in 1971.

The lion king hero's quest

From doing this i have learnt how to use Kapwing video editor to trim and edit videos.

I have also learnt about the hero's quest and have started seeing it in other movies like The Matrix and Lord of the Rings.

From doing this HTML coding i have learnt how to change border colour and change the size of slides or images for example This is my avatar.

This is my hero slide that i changed the  size of to fit this area. i also learnt how to change the colour of text in HTML like seen to the left

novel study

last week we did a novel study. we had to read a novel then answer a bunch of questions about comprehension, analysis, knowledge, synthesis and evaluation. that would be worth a certain amount of points ranging from 1 points for easy questions and up to 5 points for hard questions. you had to get a total of 40 points.
I chose Virals by Kathy reichs.

how to write a good comment:

me and my class have been doing chemistry.

at maths we have been classifying angles and using compasses

last week we did some matariki digital challenges one of them is the matariki escape room where there are 2 number locks, a word lock, a direction lock and colour lock and you have to find the clues to unlock them

strength explorer

for strength explorer i got relating, organizer, competeing

Competing is a good strength because if i do something I normally try to make it better than before and compete with myself and others. My weakness is that I can sometimes be a little hard on myself if I don't get it right or beat my high score.


Organizer is a good skill because if i become a chef I could organize everything and make sure everything is tidy.
